Can you refill Samsung toner cartridges?
It’s possible but we don’t recommend it. You can refill Samsung toner cartridges but, in most cases, you would also need to reset or replace the chip on the cartridge so that the printer doesn’t identify it as empty. Refilling toner cartridges used to be a viable option in the days before reliable compatible cartridges, and chips that could tell the printer whether the cartridge had been used before. Today, it is just as economical, considerably easier and a lot less messy to buy compatible cartridges instead.
How do I change the ink on my Samsung m2070fw?
It is easy to change the toner on your Samsung M2070fw. First, lift the scanner unit (the whole unit, not just the lid), exposing the inner cover. Open the inner cover and you will see the old toner cartridge. Using the handle, remove the old toner cartridge. Take the new cartridge, ensure that all protective packaging has been removed and shake it from side to side gently – this will distribute the toner evenly inside the cartridge. Insert the new cartridge, close the inner cover and lower the scanner unit.
