What toner does a TASKalfa 4053ci use?
The TASKalfa 4053ci uses TK-8525 toner cartridges. The original black toner cartridge can print up to 30,000 pages. While an original colour cartridge, such as in magenta can print up to 20,000 pages before needed replacement.
How to change toner on Kyocera Taskalfa 4053ci?
The toner lock system means that you can not change the toner on the Taskalfa printer unless you get a notification on the printer. To change the toner, you should see a door under the display screen on the printer. You can open this door to change the toner cartridges. Once you open the door, the toner cartridge that requires replacing will be open already. If the toner cartridge is not open, then this means that it does not need replacing. You can simply remove this used toner cartridge and insert the new replacement one inside. Once done, your printer should be ready to start printing again.
