Do all Canon ink cartridges fit all Canon printers?
No! Canon have made hundreds of different printers, and dozens of different ranges of cartridges for them – it is vital that you have the correct cartridge for your printer, as they are not all the same. For example, the PG-560 and CL-561 cartridges shown on this page look identical to the PG-540 and CL-541 cartridges, but they are not interchangeable.
How do you change ink on Canon TS5350a?
It is easy to change the ink in your Canon TS5350a printer. First, ensure that the power is on, and lift the scanning unit (the whole unit, not just the scanner lid). The print head holder will move out into an accessible position. Push the clip on the cartridge cover forward and open the cover. Remove the old cartridge – it will just lift out. Take the new cartridge, remove any protective tape or clip and place it in the print head holder, making sure that you are putting the cartridge in the correct slot (colour on the left and black on the right). Push the cartridge cover down until it clicks and close the scanning unit. Canon recommend running a print head alignment after replacing a cartridge.
Is it OK to use non Canon ink cartridges?
Yes, you can use compatible ink cartridges in your Canon printer, it’s not necessary to purchase Canon originals. At Printerinks we sell a range of compatible inks and toners which are guaranteed to work with your printer. All the cartridges shown on this page are suitable for the TS5350a printer, look out for the items described as “compatible” – these cost less and will produce the same results.
