Can I print with one cartridge missing?
Generally, no, you can’t print with one cartridge missing. It does depend on the printer model though; some older Canon printers will allow you to print in black/greyscale if one of the colours is missing. This is unusual and is not recommended for inkjet printers, which need ink to cool the print head. Printing with one cartridge empty can permanently damage the head through overheating.
