Epson Stylus Photo 1400 Ink cartridges:The printer uses six separate ink cartridges of Epson's Claria ink set. Since the ink cartridges contain dye-based Claria Hi-Definition inks, the prints last longer than dye-based inks. The ink is specifically designed to create premium grade photo quality printing. The machine’s print head carrier takes six ink cartridges; four regular cartridges added with light cyan and light magenta. It is very easy to clip the ink cartridges into the place and start printing. When the ink of a cartridge runs out, you do not need to replace all cartridges. All you need to do is replacing only the cartridges that run out of ink. Hence, you can save money on inks.

Connect the printer to camera and PC:On the left-hand side, the machines has a PictBridge socket allowing the users to connect the printer to a digital camera. Similarly, there is a USB socket at the rear back; hence, you can connect the printer to PC through a USB 2.0 cable.
